Assalamuailakum,

With Islamaphobia at an all time high, the sisters within the Muslim community are at an increased risk of religious and ethnic discrimination and violence. Many cases of this violence towards Muslim women are thoroughly documented and prevalent throughout the nation and around the world. As such, it is our duty as a community to give our sisters the opportunity to gain the abilities and skills needed to defend themselves should the need arise.

As such, MAS Arizona is putting on a self defense course for our sisters to be able to better defend themselves from a violent attack should one occur. We will have a one hour training session at the East Valley Krav Maga Facility. They specialize in practical and easy to learn techniques that will be critical in defending yourself from an unwanted attack. With continued interest, we can set up consistent lessons on a regular basis inshallah.

We will have the class taught by all female instructors and the windows for the facility are tinted to maintain practitioners privacy.
