FNO is in Session>6:45PM-8:15PM

DEAR PARENTS & STUDENTS:

اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُه

AlhamduliAllah, FNO is in session!

We would like our students/parents to follow up on a few important guidelines to ensure the well-being of the FNO seasons, Bi IdhniAllahi Ta’ala.

  • Class Timing: 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm. KK dismissal is at 8:20 PM. All students are required to check in 10 minutes before the class starts (6:35 PM).
  • Student ID Badge: Registered students receive name badges on the First Day. Please scan the badges at the main door to CHECK-IN every time attending the program. Each student’s badge has a custom QR code with student information, and an electronic version has been emailed to the parents. There is no paper attendance entry for students. A non-checked-in student will be marked absent for that session, and three consecutive absences will result in their name being removed from the class and assigned to waiting list students.
  • Shoe Etiquette: All students must put their shoes on the designated shoe racks. Shoes left on the floor will be placed in a bin for them to find.
  • During the Session: Other than notifications, Parents are not allowed in the Masjid from 6:45 to 8:15 PM. STUDENTS NEED at least a couple of weeks to get settled in. Our space is limited, and your consideration and cooperation will be greatly appreciated and will help our staff members to focus on the students.
(However, there is a very limited space in the lobby for sisters to pray, but be aware that the space can be used by the administration if needed at any time. Brothers are requested not to wait or sit in the main prayer hall while classes are in session. If, for some reason, you are available and staying at the Masjid, we highly recommend you fill out the safety patrol volunteer form and help us organize our outdoor patrol activities. The Safety Patrol Volunteer Application is available at the Admin desk.)
  • Parking Etiquette: For everyone’s safety, you are requested to enter the dirt parking lot from Alma School Road (the Masjid Driveway from Alma School).  Once you enter the parking lot, please park your car in an orderly fashion such that you are not blocking the passageway or any other properly parked cars. Please, please do not DRIVE AGGRESSIVELY, no matter how late you are in the parking lot. Exit from the south side of the parking lot on Erie Street. PLEASE DO NOT EXIT from the north side entrance towards Alma School Road. We have some safety patrol volunteers helping with the traffic in the parking lot. Please obey their instructions as they are doing their job. For your convenience, a parking map with directions, including other FNO protocols, is available on the FNO Bulletin below in this message. Please take a moment to understand the requested traffic flow direction and other FNO  expectations.
  • Dismissal: Classes end at 8:15 PM (KK class dismissal is 8:25 pm), and students will be brought out to the COURTYARD by volunteers. Please stand behind the rails/belts while waiting for the students. Do not enter the masjid to pick up the students. The FNO Youth Halaqa program will not be available and responsible for youth before 6:30 pm and after 8:30 PM.
  • Absence Report: Please report any possible/unavoidable absence 1 week before each session at  https://icevfno.com/absence-reporting/.  Any 3 weeks of consecutive absences without notice/or without a valid reason will be grounds for student termination from the program.
  • Non-Registered Children: Please do not leave non-registered children of any age in the masjid/admin lobby at any time.
  • Parent & Student Handbook:  Please read through the Parent & Student Handbook for detailed information at https://icevfno.com/handbooks/.
  • Dean of Students: The Dean of Students will monitor student well-being, behavior, and classroom participation to promote a positive and safe FNO environment. Please remind your children about the Dean of Students and FNO protocols before arriving at the Masjid. You may receive a behavioral notification if needed.
  • Contact FNO: To reach us, please use our email address icevfno@gmail.com or text (only) us at 480-442-4181. If you are contacting us for admission or payment-related inquiries, please include the full names of the students and their school grades.
  • WhatsApp Info: Individual links were sent for each group separately for parents to sign in to receive WhatsApp messages.
  • FNO Bulletin: Weekly reminders and more are available here: FNO Bulletin.

We look forward to having a great time with your children in the best manner possible, and we wish you an educational yet fun and beneficial FNO semester, Bi IdhniAllahi Ta’ala!

Jazakum Allahu Khairan for partnering with the FNO team!

Thank you and Baraka Allahu FeeKum!

Sincerely,

-FNO Administration
