Assalamu Alaikum FNO Parents,

The first day of the semester is our “Open House,” which will take place this Friday, August 21st, 2026 at 6:45 PM till 8:00 PM. Please note that there will be no classes on this day; instead, this is a dedicated time for parents and students to meet their teachers, learn about the curriculum, and ask questions.

This is the only opportunity during the year for parents to meet the teachers, as parents are not permitted in the classrooms once the semester is in session.

Important Reminders for Open House:

  – No Drop-offs: Please do not drop off your children. We are not responsible for unattended children, as classes do not officially resume until August 28th.
  – Teacher Meet & Greet: We highly recommend that parents come inside the Masjid and visit the tables assigned to their children’s respective classes.
  – Materials: During the session, you will receive student badges, curriculum topics, lesson plan outlines, and class rules.

Why Attend?

  – Decision Making: Understand the program’s atmosphere and expectations to ensure it is the right fit for your student.
  – Build Relationships: Meet the administrative team, staff, and current students to build rapport within the FNO community.
  – Tour Facilities: Take the opportunity to tour the Masjid’s facilities and envision the student experience.
