Dear Parents & Students,
Thank you for attending our recent open house. We hope it was beneficial to meet your child’s teacher, tour the Masjid, and see their classroom.
A hearty welcome to our returning and new students to the ICEV FNO Youth Halaqa, Fall 2026. Our first class begins this Friday, August 28, 2026.
Please find a summary of the key guidelines and schedules below:
Schedule & Attendance
– Duration: Classes run from 6:45 PM – 8:15 PM (KK class ends at 8:20 PM).
– Check-in: Check-in begins at 6:35 PM in the courtyard. Students must check in by scanning their QR code badge by 6:40 PM.
– Pick-up: 8:15 PM for all groups, and 8:20 PM for KK.
– Prayers: Maghrib prayer is included; Isha prayer is not.
– Absences: Please report absences at https://icevfno.com/absence-reporting/. Three consecutive unexcused absences will result in removal from the program.
QR Code Badges:
An electronic custom QR code badge with student information was emailed to the address provided during registration. We recommend taking a snapshot of this electronic badge and saving it on your phone for quick check-in. Students also received a hard copy of their badges on the Open House day, August 21.
Arrival & Dismissal:
– Drop-off: Do not drop off children before 6:30 PM. Parents are not allowed inside the Masjid during session hours (6:45 PM – 8:15 PM).
– Pick-up: Parents must wait behind the rails in the courtyard at 8:15 PM. Do not enter the Masjid for pick-up.
– Shoes: All shoes must be placed on designated racks; shoes left on the floor will be moved to a bin.
Parking & Safety:
– Traffic Flow: Enter the dirt lot from Alma School Road and exit only via Erie Street (South side).
– Conduct: Drive slowly, park your car responsibly, and follow instructions from the Safety Patrol volunteers if there are any.
Policies & Contact:
– Non-Registered Students & Visitors: All non-registered students must check in with the administration to obtain a visitor badge. Anyone found in a classroom without a badge will be escorted to the administration immediately. Non-registered children must not be left unattended in the lobby or Masjid premises.
– Discipline Policy: Disruptive behavior will be addressed through the following progression: 1) Verbal warning, 2) Mandatory parent-administration meeting, 3) Suspension and parent notification, 4) Disciplinary action up to termination of enrollment.
